Truth, communication and beauty
Truthfulness serves trust and human communion. Lying, false accusation, rash judgment, and unjust damage to reputation can harm persons and communities. Truth must be joined to charity, prudence, privacy, and responsibility in communication; not every fact belongs to every audience. Media, art, and public speech carry the same moral responsibilities as personal conversation. Beauty can also become a witness to truth.
