Sexuality, chastity and marriage

Catholic sexual ethics connects the body, love, chastity, fidelity, and openness to life. Marriage is understood as a covenant of a man and a woman; sexual intimacy belongs within that covenant. Chastity is a vocation for all people in their differing states of life. The Church’s teaching must be presented with the equal dignity of every person, including respect and rejection of unjust discrimination toward people with same-sex attraction.
