The one God

Christians confess one God, the source of all that exists, who is faithful, truthful, and loving. God is not one powerful object within the universe. Biblical names reveal a relationship with the living God while reminding us that God exceeds our concepts. Belief in one Creator also grounds the unity of the human family and the goodness of creation.
