The Word made flesh
The incarnation is the eternal Son of God becoming truly human while remaining truly divine. Jesus Christ is one person with a full divine nature and a full human nature; his humanity is not a disguise. This conviction shapes Christian understanding of salvation: God meets and heals human life from within. The councils of Ephesus and Chalcedon clarify the language used to safeguard this faith.
