Unity across liturgical traditions

The Catholic Church includes the Latin Church and Eastern Catholic Churches with their own liturgical, spiritual, and disciplinary traditions. Their recognized rites have equal dignity. Unity is not uniformity: different forms celebrate the same saving mystery within communion of faith. Practices familiar from the Roman rite should not automatically be described as the only Catholic way.
