Law, nature and the Gospel

Catholic teaching speaks of eternal law, natural law, revealed law, and human law in related but distinct ways. Natural law concerns moral truths accessible to human reason; it is not simply whatever happens in nature. The Gospel brings the law of love to fulfillment through grace. Human laws deserve evaluation by justice and the dignity of those they affect.
