Saints and religious orders
Saints are witnesses to grace in varied times, cultures, and vocations. Canonization does not turn every personal opinion or action of a saint into a universal norm. Religious orders cultivate particular charisms of prayer, teaching, service, or community life. Read a saint’s words in context and distinguish reliable biography from later devotional storytelling.
