Objections and other beliefs

Apologetics should explain Catholic claims honestly while hearing objections in their strongest reasonable form. Questions about Scripture, authority, morality, other religions, and historical wrongdoing deserve patient treatment. Persuasion must respect conscience and freedom. Admitting uncertainty or a weak argument can serve truth better than winning a dispute through selective evidence or dismissing another person’s experience.
