Faith, reason and science
Faith and reason concern truth and should not be set against one another as automatic enemies. Philosophy examines arguments about being, knowledge, and ethics; natural science investigates the observable world through its own methods. Theology reflects on revelation with disciplined reasoning. Apparent conflicts require attention to what each claim actually asserts and to the limits of a method.
