Beginning a daily prayer practice
Begin with a small, reliable time and an honest response to God. Read a short Gospel passage, notice what it says, speak about what it awakens, and allow a little silence. A morning offering, an evening examination, or a familiar prayer can establish a rhythm. Change practices thoughtfully rather than measuring success only by strong feelings or long duration.
