Ordinary Time

Church Father · c. AD 329–390

Gregory of Nazianzus (Gregory the Theologian)

Briefly Archbishop of Constantinople; one of the three Cappadocian Fathers. His five Theological Orations (delivered at Constantinople, 380) are among the most influential Trinitarian texts in Christian history and the reason he is called "the Theologian" in Eastern tradition — a title otherwise given only to John the Evangelist.

Brief introduction from the source collection. A full library biography has not yet been prepared.
